“Little Rays”
We are happy to announce the new pre-school program we are offering for 3 year olds, “affectionately” referred to as our Little Rays.
First and foremost this will be a fun-loving non-stressful environment. We want this first experience with school to be a happy one. Our Little Rays program will be used as a stepping stone into St. John’s Pre-K curriculum. Our goals will be:
· To identify and name:
o Colors
o Shapes
o Numbers – (1-10 )
o Letters-will be able to recognize all & name
· Name recognition
· Learn left & right
· Begin teaching the Sign of the Cross
· To provide a non-competitive environment
· To encourage language and cognitive development
· Continued development of social skills
*Physical Education will be offered once a week. Music, art and technology will be integrated. A snack will be provided. Please advise teachers immediately of any known allergies.
Little Rays Uniform
We offer the Little Rays two uniform options. Either can be worn daily.
- Little Rays may wear the same uniform as the Pre-K students (see uniform policy in the link above)
- SJA physical education t-shirt with grey or maroon shorts, sweatshirt/sweatpants with tennis shoes.
Those families enrolling in the Little Rays program with children enrolled in Pre-K through 8th grade deduct $ 15.00 per Little Ray per month
Non refundable registration fee of $ 50.00 is due with the application.
Tuition is paid in 10 monthly payments, starting August 15th and ending May 15th.
The hours of school are 8:00am to 12:00pm
